Common Rosary Prayers

Our Father

Pray the Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13).

Pray the Hail Mary in the form you know from your parish or tradition.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Many people add a short prayer after the Glory Be at each decade (often called the Fatima prayer). Use the wording your community uses, or omit it.

A common closing prayer is the Hail Holy Queen (Salve Regina). Pray it in the form you know, then end with the Sign of the Cross.
