Eu vi, e eis o Cordeiro de pé no Monte Zion, e com ele um número, cento e quarenta e quatro mil, tendo seu nome e o nome de seu Pai escrito em suas testas.

Ouvi um som do céu como o som de muitas águas e como o som de um grande trovão. O som que ouvi era como o de harpistas tocando em suas harpas.

Eles cantam uma nova canção diante do trono e diante dos quatro seres vivos e dos anciãos. Ninguém podia aprender a canção, exceto os cento e quarenta e quatro mil, aqueles que haviam sido redimidos da terra.

Estes são aqueles que não foram contaminados com mulheres, pois eles são virgens. Estes são aqueles que seguem o Cordeiro para onde quer que ele vá. Estes foram redimidos por Jesus entre os homens, os primeiros frutos para Deus e para o Cordeiro.

Na boca deles não foi encontrada nenhuma mentira, pois eles são irrepreensíveis.

Vi um anjo voando no meio do céu, tendo uma eterna Boa Nova para anunciar àqueles que habitam na terra - a todas as nações, tribos, línguas e povos.

Ele disse em voz alta: “Temei ao Senhor e dai-lhe glória, pois chegou a hora de seu julgamento”. Adorai aquele que fez o céu, a terra, o mar e as fontes das águas”!

Um outro, um segundo anjo, seguiu, dizendo: “Babilônia, a grande, caiu, o que fez todas as nações beberem do vinho da ira de sua imoralidade sexual”.

Outro anjo, um terceiro, os seguiu, dizendo com grande voz: “Se alguém adora a besta e sua imagem e recebe uma marca na testa ou na mão,

ele também beberá do vinho da ira de Deus, que é preparado não misturado no cálice de sua ira. Ele será atormentado com fogo e enxofre na presença dos anjos santos e na presença do Cordeiro.

A fumaça de seu tormento sobe para todo o sempre. Eles não têm descanso dia e noite, aqueles que adoram a besta e sua imagem, e quem recebe a marca de seu nome.

Aqui está a perseverança dos santos, aqueles que guardam os mandamentos de Deus e a fé de Jesus”.

Eu olhei, e vi uma nuvem branca, e na nuvem um sentado como um filho do homem, tendo na cabeça uma coroa dourada, e na mão uma foice afiada.

Outro anjo saiu do templo, gritando com voz alta para aquele que estava sentado sobre a nuvem: “Manda tua foice e ceifa, pois chegou a hora de ceifar; pois a colheita da terra está madura”!

Aquele que se sentou na nuvem empurrou sua foice sobre a terra, e a terra foi ceifada.

Outro anjo saiu do templo que está no céu. Ele também tinha uma foice afiada.

Outro anjo saiu do altar, aquele que tem poder sobre o fogo, e chamou com uma grande voz aquele que tinha a foice afiada, dizendo: “Mande sua foice afiada e recolha os cachos da videira da terra, pois as uvas da terra estão totalmente maduras”!

O anjo empurrou sua foice para a terra, e colheu a colheita da terra e a jogou no grande lagar da ira de Deus.
- 20
O lagar foi pisado fora da cidade, e o sangue saiu do lagar, até os freios dos cavalos, até mil e seiscentos estádios.

I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.

I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.

They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.

These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.

I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.

He said with a loud voice, “Fear the Lord, and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!”

Another, a second angel, followed, saying, “Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”

Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
- 10
he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them.”

I looked, and saw a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Send your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”
- 16
He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
- 17
Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle.

Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!”

The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.
- 20
The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.
