“Você, filho do homem, profetize contra Gogue, e diga: 'Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Eis que eu sou contra você, Gogue, príncipe de Rôs, Meseque e Tubal.

Eu o farei dar meia-volta, o conduzirei e o farei subir dos confins do norte; e o trarei sobre os montes de Israel.

Golpearei o seu arco para que caia da sua mão esquerda, e farei as suas flechas caírem da sua mão direita.

Você cairá sobre os montes de Israel, você, e todas as suas hordas, e os povos que estão com você. Eu o darei às aves de rapina de toda espécie e aos animais do campo para ser devorado.

Você cairá em campo aberto, pois eu falei”, diz o Senhor DEUS.

“Enviarei fogo sobre Magogue e sobre aqueles que habitam seguros nas ilhas. Então eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.

“'“Tornarei conhecido o meu santo nome no meio do meu povo Israel. Não permitirei que o meu santo nome seja profanado nunca mais. Então as nações saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, o Santo em Israel.

Eis que vem, e se cumprirá”, diz o Senhor DEUS. “Este é o dia do qual tenho falado.

“'“Aqueles que habitam nas cidades de Israel sairão e farão fogo com as armas e as queimarão, tanto os escudos quanto os broquéis, os arcos e as flechas, as maças de guerra e as lanças, e farão fogo com elas durante sete anos;

de modo que não pegarão lenha do campo, nem cortarão das florestas; pois farão fogo com as armas. Eles saquearão aqueles que os saquearam, e roubarão aqueles que os roubaram”, diz o Senhor DEUS.

“'“Acontecerá naquele dia que darei a Gogue um lugar para sepultamento em Israel, o vale dos viajantes, a leste do mar; e isso bloqueará o caminho dos que passam. Ali sepultarão Gogue e toda a sua multidão, e o chamarão de 'O vale de Hamom-Gogue'.

“'“A casa de Israel os estará sepultando durante sete meses, para que possam purificar a terra.
- 13
Sim, todo o povo da terra os sepultará; e eles se tornarão famosos no dia em que eu for glorificado”, diz o Senhor DEUS.

“'“Eles separarão homens de emprego contínuo que passarão pela terra. Aqueles que passarem irão com os que sepultam os que restarem sobre a superfície da terra, para purificá-la. Ao fim de sete meses, eles farão a busca.

Aqueles que buscarem pela terra passarão; e quando alguém vir um osso humano, colocará um sinal junto a ele, até que os coveiros o tenham sepultado no vale de Hamom-Gogue.

Hamoná também será o nome de uma cidade. Assim eles purificarão a terra.”'

“Você, filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: 'Fale às aves de toda espécie, e a todos os animais do campo: “Reúnam-se e venham; ajuntem-se de todos os lados para o meu sacrifício que sacrifico por vocês, um grande sacrifício sobre os montes de Israel, para que comam carne e bebam sangue.

Vocês comerão a carne dos poderosos e beberão o sangue dos príncipes da terra, de carneiros, de cordeiros, de bodes e de touros, todos eles animais gordos de Basã.

Vocês comerão gordura até se fartarem, e beberão sangue até se embriagarem, do meu sacrifício que sacrifiquei por vocês.
- 20
Vocês se fartarão à minha mesa com cavalos e cavaleiros, com homens poderosos e com todos os homens de guerra”, diz o Senhor DEUS.'

“Estabelecerei a minha glória entre as nações. Então todas as nações verão o meu juízo que executei, e a minha mão que coloquei sobre elas.

Assim a casa de Israel saberá que eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus, daquele dia em diante.

As nações saberão que a casa de Israel foi para o cativeiro por causa da sua iniquidade, porque eles transgrediram contra mim, e eu escondi deles o meu rosto; por isso eu os entreguei nas mãos dos seus adversários, e todos eles caíram à espada.

Eu os tratei de acordo com a sua impureza e de acordo com as suas transgressões. Eu escondi deles o meu rosto.

“Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: 'Agora eu reverterei o cativeiro de Jacó e terei misericórdia de toda a casa de Israel. Terei zelo pelo meu santo nome.

Eles esquecerão a sua vergonha e todas as suas transgressões pelas quais transgrediram contra mim, quando habitarem seguros na sua terra. Ninguém os fará ter medo

quando eu os tiver trazido de volta dentre os povos, os tiver ajuntado das terras dos seus inimigos, e me mostrar santo entre eles à vista de muitas nações.

Eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus, porquanto os fiz ir para o cativeiro entre as nações, e os ajuntei na sua própria terra. Então não deixarei mais nenhum deles cativo.

Não esconderei mais deles o meu rosto, pois derramei o meu Espírito sobre a casa de Israel', diz o Senhor DEUS.”

“You, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.

I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.

You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your hordes, and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the animals of the field to be devoured.

You will fall on the open field, for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.

“I will send a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the islands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

“‘“I will make my holy name known among my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord GOD. “This is the day about which I have spoken.

“‘“Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;

so that they will take no wood out of the field, and not cut down any out of the forests; for they will make fires with the weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them,” says the Lord GOD.

“‘“It will happen in that day, that I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east of the sea; and it will stop those who pass through. They will bury Gog and all his multitude there, and they will call it ‘The valley of Hamon Gog’.

“‘“The house of Israel will be burying them for seven months, that they may cleanse the land.

Yes, all the people of the land will bury them; and they will become famous in the day that I will be glorified,” says the Lord GOD.

“‘“They will set apart men of continual employment who will pass through the land. Those who pass through will go with those who bury those who remain on the surface of the land, to cleanse it. After the end of seven months they will search.

Those who search through the land will pass through; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, then he will set up a sign by it, until the undertakers have buried it in the valley of Hamon Gog.

Hamonah will also be the name of a city. Thus they will cleanse the land.”’

“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.

You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
- 20
You shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war,” says the Lord GOD.’

“I will set my glory among the nations. Then all the nations will see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.
- 22
So the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day and forward.

The nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.

I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.
- 25
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.
- 26
They will forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwell securely in their land. No one will make them afraid
- 27
when I have brought them back from the peoples, gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am shown holy among them in the sight of many nations.

They will know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.
- 29
I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”
