O Poderoso, Deus, Yahweh, fala, e chama a terra do nascer do sol ao pôr-do-sol.

Out de Sião, a perfeição da beleza, Deus resplandece.

Nosso Deus vem, e não se cala. Um incêndio devora diante dele. É muito tempestuoso ao seu redor.

Ele chama para os céus acima, para a terra, para que ele possa julgar seu povo:
- 5
“Reúna meus santos para mim, aqueles que fizeram um pacto comigo por sacrifício”.

Os céus declararão sua retidão, pois o próprio Deus é juiz. Selah.
- 7
“Ouça, meu povo, e eu falarei”. Israel, eu testemunharei contra você. Eu sou Deus, seu Deus.
- 8
Eu não o repreendo por seus sacrifícios. Suas ofertas queimadas estão continuamente diante de mim.
- 9
Eu não tenho necessidade de um touro de sua banca, nem os caprinos de seus currais.
- 10
Para cada animal da floresta é meu, e o gado em mil colinas.
- 11
Eu conheço todas as aves das montanhas. Os animais selvagens do campo são meus.
- 12
Se eu estivesse com fome, eu não lhe diria, pois o mundo é meu, e tudo o que está nele.
- 13
Vou comer a carne de touros, ou beber o sangue de caprinos?
- 14
Ofereça a Deus o sacrifício de ação de graças. Pague seus votos ao Altíssimo.
- 15
Ligue para mim no dia do problema. Eu te entregarei e você me honrará”.

Mas para o malvado Deus diz, “Que direito você tem de declarar meus estatutos”, que você tomou meu pacto em seus lábios,

já que você odeia instruções, e jogar minhas palavras atrás de você?

Quando você viu um ladrão, você consentiu com ele, e participaram com adúlteros.

“Você dá sua boca ao mal. Sua língua enquadra o engano.
- 20
Você se senta e fala contra seu irmão. Você calunia o filho de sua própria mãe.
- 21
Você fez estas coisas, e eu me mantive em silêncio. Você pensou que eu era exatamente como você. Vou repreendê-lo e acusá-lo diante de seus olhos.

“Agora considere isto, você que se esquece de Deus, para que eu não o desfaça em pedaços, e não haja ninguém para entregar.
- 23
Whoever oferece o sacrifício da ação de graças que me glorifica, e prepara seu caminho para que eu lhe mostre a salvação de Deus”.

The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
- 3
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.

He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
- 5
“Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”

The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.
- 7
“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
- 8
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
- 9
I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
- 10
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
- 11
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
- 12
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
- 13
Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
- 14
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
- 15
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
- 16
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
- 17
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
- 18
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
- 19
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
- 20
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
- 21
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
- 22
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
- 23
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
