Pedido de chuva de Yahweh na primavera, Yahweh que faz nuvens de tempestade, e ele dá chuveiros de chuva a todos para as plantas no campo.

Pois os teraphim falaram vaidade, e os adivinhadores viram uma mentira; e eles contaram sonhos falsos. Confortam em vão. Portanto, eles seguem seu caminho como ovelhas. Eles são oprimidos, porque não há pastor.

Minha raiva é acesa contra os pastores, e castigarei os caprinos machos, pois Javé dos Exércitos visitou seu rebanho, a casa de Judá, e os fará como seu majestoso cavalo na batalha.

Ephraim será como um homem poderoso, e seu coração se regozijará como pelo vinho. Sim, seus filhos o verão e se regozijarão. Seu coração ficará contente em Yahweh.

Eu farei sinal para eles e os recolherei, pois eu os resgatei. Eles vão aumentar como antes.

Semeá-las-ei entre os povos. Eles vão se lembrar de mim em países distantes. Eles viverão com seus filhos e voltarão.

Vou trazê-los novamente também para fora da terra do Egito, e os recolhe fora da Assíria. Vou trazê-los para a terra de Gilead e do Líbano; e não haverá espaço suficiente para eles.

Ele passará pelo mar da aflição, e atingirá as ondas no mar, e todas as profundezas do Nilo secarão; e o orgulho da Assíria será derrubado, e o cetro do Egito irá partir.

Vou fortalecê-los em Yahweh. Eles andarão para cima e para baixo em seu nome”, diz Yahweh.

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats, for the LORD of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

From him will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.

They will be as mighty men, treading down muddy streets in the battle. They will fight, because the LORD is with them. The riders on horses will be confounded.

“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, for I have mercy on them. They will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am the LORD their God, and I will hear them.

Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as through wine. Yes, their children will see it and rejoice. Their heart will be glad in the LORD.

I will signal for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. They will increase as they were before.

I will sow them among the peoples. They will remember me in far countries. They will live with their children and will return.

I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and there won’t be room enough for them.

He will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.

I will strengthen them in the LORD. They will walk up and down in his name,” says the LORD.
