O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:

“Fale aos filhos de Israel e diga-lhes: ‘Quando um homem consagrar uma pessoa ao SENHOR em um voto, de acordo com a sua avaliação,
- 3
a sua avaliação de um homem de vinte a sessenta anos de idade será de cinquenta siclos de prata, de acordo com o siclo do santuário.

Se for mulher, então a sua avaliação será de trinta siclos.
- 5
Se a pessoa tiver de cinco a vinte anos de idade, então a sua avaliação será de vinte siclos para o homem, e dez siclos para a mulher.
- 6
Se a pessoa tiver de um mês a cinco anos de idade, então a sua avaliação será de cinco siclos de prata para o menino, e para a menina a sua avaliação será de três siclos de prata.
- 7
Se a pessoa tiver sessenta anos de idade ou mais; se for homem, então a sua avaliação será de quinze siclos, e para a mulher, dez siclos.
- 8
Mas se ele for pobre demais para pagar a sua avaliação, então ele será apresentado diante do sacerdote, e o sacerdote lhe atribuirá um valor. O sacerdote atribuirá um valor de acordo com a capacidade de pagamento de quem fez o voto.

“‘Se for um animal dos quais os homens apresentam como oferta ao SENHOR, tudo o que alguém der de tais animais ao SENHOR se tornará santo.
- 10
Ele não o alterará, nem o trocará, um bom por um ruim, ou um ruim por um bom. Se de alguma forma trocar um animal por outro animal, então tanto o primeiro quanto o substituto serão santos.

Se for qualquer animal impuro, dos quais não se apresenta como oferta ao SENHOR, então ele apresentará o animal diante do sacerdote;
- 12
e o sacerdote o avaliará, seja bom ou ruim. Conforme o sacerdote o avaliar, assim será.
- 13
Mas se ele de fato quiser resgatá-lo, então acrescentará a quinta parte ao valor da avaliação.
- 14
“‘Quando um homem dedicar a sua casa para ser santa ao SENHOR, então o sacerdote a avaliará, seja boa ou ruim. Conforme o sacerdote a avaliar, assim o valor se manterá.
- 15
Se aquele que a dedicou quiser resgatar a sua casa, então acrescentará a quinta parte do dinheiro da sua avaliação a ela, e a casa será dele.

“‘Se um homem dedicar ao SENHOR parte do campo de sua propriedade, então a sua avaliação será de acordo com a semente necessária para ele. A semeadura de um hômer de cevada será avaliada em cinquenta siclos de prata.
- 17
Se ele dedicar o seu campo a partir do Ano do Jubileu, o valor da sua avaliação se manterá.
- 18
Mas se ele dedicar o seu campo depois do Jubileu, então o sacerdote calculará para ele o dinheiro de acordo com os anos que restam até o Ano do Jubileu; e um desconto será feito da sua avaliação.
- 19
Se aquele que dedicou o campo de fato quiser resgatá-lo, então acrescentará a quinta parte do dinheiro da sua avaliação a ele, e o campo continuará sendo seu.
- 20
Se ele não quiser resgatar o campo, ou se tiver vendido o campo a outro homem, não poderá mais ser resgatado;
- 21
mas o campo, quando for liberado no Jubileu, será santo ao SENHOR, como um campo consagrado. Será propriedade dos sacerdotes.
- 22
“‘Se ele dedicar ao SENHOR um campo que comprou, que não faz parte do campo de sua propriedade,
- 23
então o sacerdote calculará para ele o valor da sua avaliação até o Ano do Jubileu; e ele dará o valor da sua avaliação naquele dia, como uma coisa santa ao SENHOR.
- 24
No Ano do Jubileu, o campo retornará àquele de quem foi comprado, ou seja, àquele a quem pertence a propriedade da terra.
- 25
Todas as suas avaliações serão de acordo com o siclo do santuário: vinte geras para um siclo.
- 26
“‘Contudo, o primogênito entre os animais, que pertence ao SENHOR como primogênito, nenhum homem poderá dedicar, seja boi ou ovelha. É do SENHOR.
- 27
Se for um animal impuro, então ele o comprará de volta de acordo com a sua avaliação, e acrescentará a ele a quinta parte; ou, se não for resgatado, então será vendido de acordo com a sua avaliação.

“‘Apesar disso, nenhuma coisa consagrada que um homem consagrar ao SENHOR de tudo o que tem, seja homem ou animal, ou do campo de sua propriedade, será vendida ou resgatada. Tudo o que é permanentemente consagrado é santíssimo ao SENHOR.
- 29
“‘Nenhuma pessoa consagrada para destruição, que for consagrada dentre os homens, será resgatada. Ela certamente será morta.
- 30
“‘Todo o dízimo da terra, seja da semente da terra ou do fruto das árvores, é do SENHOR. É santo ao SENHOR.
- 31
Se um homem resgatar qualquer parte do seu dízimo, ele acrescentará a quinta parte a ele.
- 32
Todo o dízimo dos rebanhos ou do gado, tudo o que passar debaixo da vara, a décima parte será santa ao SENHOR.
- 33
Ele não examinará se é bom ou ruim, nem o trocará. Se de alguma forma o trocar, então tanto ele quanto aquele pelo qual foi trocado serão santos. Não poderá ser resgatado.’”

Estes são os mandamentos que o SENHOR ordenou a Moisés para os filhos de Israel no monte Sinai.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man consecrates a person to the LORD in a vow, according to your valuation,
- 3
your valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
- 4
If she is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
- 5
If the person is from five years old to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
- 6
If the person is from a month old to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
- 7
If the person is from sixty years old and upward; if he is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
- 8
But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest shall assign a value to him. The priest shall assign a value according to his ability to pay.
- 9
“‘If it is an animal of which men offer an offering to the LORD, all that any man gives of such to the LORD becomes holy.
- 10
He shall not alter it, nor exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good. If he shall at all exchange animal for animal, then both it and that for which it is exchanged shall be holy.
- 11
If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to the LORD, then he shall set the animal before the priest;
- 12
and the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall be.
- 13
But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of it to its valuation.
- 14
“‘When a man dedicates his house to be holy to the LORD, then the priest shall evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall stand.
- 15
If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.
- 16
“‘If a man dedicates to the LORD part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. The sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.
- 17
If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand.
- 18
But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest shall reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation.
- 19
If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his.
- 20
If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more;
- 21
but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to the LORD, as a devoted field. It shall be owned by the priests.

“‘If he dedicates a field to the LORD which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession,
- 23
then the priest shall reckon to him the worth of your valuation up to the Year of Jubilee; and he shall give your valuation on that day, as a holy thing to the LORD.
- 24
In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him from whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.
- 25
All your valuations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs to the shekel.
- 26
“‘However the firstborn among animals, which belongs to the LORD as a firstborn, no man may dedicate, whether an ox or a sheep. It is the LORD’s.
- 27
If it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back according to your valuation, and shall add to it the fifth part of it; or if it isn’t redeemed, then it shall be sold according to your valuation.
- 28
“‘Notwithstanding, no devoted thing that a man devotes to the LORD of all that he has, whether of man or animal, or of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed. Everything that is permanently devoted is most holy to the LORD.
- 29
“‘No one devoted to destruction, who shall be devoted from among men, shall be ransomed. He shall surely be put to death.
- 30
“‘All the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the LORD’s. It is holy to the LORD.
- 31
If a man redeems anything of his tithe, he shall add a fifth part to it.
- 32
All the tithe of the herds or the flocks, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the LORD.
- 33
He shall not examine whether it is good or bad, neither shall he exchange it. If he exchanges it at all, then both it and that for which it is exchanged shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.’”

These are the commandments which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai.
