Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.

I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
- 3
for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?

For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
- 5
Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
- 6
I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
- 7
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
- 8
Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
- 10
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.

For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
- 12
But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
- 13
each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
- 14
If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
- 15
If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
- 16
Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
- 17
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- 18
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- 19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
- 20
And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
- 21
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
- 22
whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
- 23
and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

Irmãos, não pude falar a vocês como a espirituais, mas como a carnais, como a bebês em Cristo.

Eu os alimentei com leite, não com alimento sólido, pois vocês ainda não estavam prontos. De fato, vocês não estão prontos nem mesmo agora,

pois vocês ainda são carnais. Porque, visto que há ciúmes, contendas e facções entre vocês, não são vocês carnais, e não andam nos caminhos dos homens?

Pois quando um diz: “Eu sigo a Paulo”, e outro: “Eu sigo a Apolo”, vocês não são carnais?
- 5
Quem então é Apolo, e quem é Paulo, senão servos por meio de quem vocês creram, e isso conforme o Senhor concedeu a cada um?
- 6
Eu plantei. Apolo regou. Mas Deus deu o crescimento.
- 7
De modo que nem o que planta é alguma coisa, nem o que rega, mas Deus, que dá o crescimento.
- 8
Ora, o que planta e o que rega são um, mas cada um receberá a sua própria recompensa de acordo com o seu próprio trabalho.
- 9
Pois nós somos cooperadores de Deus. Vocês são lavoura de Deus, edifício de Deus.
- 10
Segundo a graça de Deus que me foi dada, como um sábio mestre de obras eu lancei o fundamento, e outro edifica sobre ele. Mas que cada um tenha cuidado em como edifica sobre ele.

Pois ninguém pode lançar outro fundamento além do que já foi lançado, o qual é Jesus Cristo.
- 12
Mas, se alguém edifica sobre o fundamento com ouro, prata, pedras preciosas, madeira, feno ou palha,
- 13
a obra de cada um será revelada. Pois o Dia a declarará, porque é revelada no fogo; e o próprio fogo provará que tipo de obra é a de cada um.
- 14
Se a obra que alguém edificou sobre ele permanecer, ele receberá uma recompensa.
- 15
Se a obra de alguém for queimada, ele sofrerá perda, mas ele mesmo será salvo, porém como que através do fogo.
- 16
Vocês não sabem que são templo de Deus e que o Espírito de Deus habita em vocês?
- 17
Se alguém destruir o templo de Deus, Deus o destruirá; pois o templo de Deus é santo, o qual são vocês.
- 18
Ninguém engane a si mesmo. Se alguém entre vocês pensa que é sábio neste mundo, torne-se louco para que se torne sábio.
- 19
Pois a sabedoria deste mundo é loucura diante de Deus. Porque está escrito: “Ele apanha os sábios na sua própria astúcia.”
- 20
E novamente: “O Senhor conhece os raciocínios dos sábios, que são inúteis.”
- 21
Portanto, ninguém se glorie nos homens. Pois todas as coisas são de vocês,
- 22
seja Paulo, ou Apolo, ou Cefas, ou o mundo, ou a vida, ou a morte, ou as coisas presentes, ou as coisas futuras. Tudo é de vocês,
- 23
e vocês são de Cristo, e Cristo é de Deus.
