Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.

I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
- 3
for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?

For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
- 5
Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
- 6
I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
- 7
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
- 8
Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
- 10
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.

For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
- 12
But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
- 13
each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
- 14
If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
- 15
If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
- 16
Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
- 17
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- 18
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- 19
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
- 20
And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
- 21
Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
- 22
whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
- 23
and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

Irmãos, eu não poderia falar com vocês como espiritual, mas como carnal, como com os bebês em Cristo.

Eu os alimentei com leite, não com alimentos sólidos, pois vocês ainda não estavam prontos. De fato, vocês ainda não estão prontos,

pois ainda são carnais. Pois na medida em que há ciúmes, contendas e facções entre vocês, vocês não são carnais, e não andam nos caminhos dos homens?

Pois quando um diz: “Eu sigo Paulo”, e outro: “Eu sigo Apolo”, você não é carnal?
- 5
Quem então é Apolo, e quem é Paulo, mas servos através dos quais você acreditou, e cada um como o Senhor lhe deu?
- 6
Eu plantei. Apolo regado. Mas Deus deu o aumento.
- 7
Portanto, nem aquele que planta é nada, nem aquele que rega, mas Deus que dá o aumento.
- 8
Agora quem planta e quem rega é o mesmo, mas cada um receberá sua própria recompensa de acordo com seu próprio trabalho.
- 9
Pois somos companheiros de trabalho de Deus. Vocês são a agricultura de Deus, o edifício de Deus.
- 10
De acordo com a graça de Deus que me foi dada, como sábio mestre-de-obras, lancei uma base, e outra se baseia nela. Mas que cada homem tenha cuidado em como constrói sobre ela.

Pois ninguém pode lançar outro alicerce além daquele que foi lançado, que é Jesus Cristo.
- 12
Mas se alguém construir sobre o alicerce com ouro, prata, pedras caras, madeira, feno ou palha,
- 13
o trabalho de cada homem será revelado. Pois o Dia o declarará, porque é revelado no fogo; e o próprio fogo testará que tipo de trabalho é o trabalho de cada homem.
- 14
Se o trabalho de qualquer homem permanecer que ele construiu sobre ele, ele receberá uma recompensa.
- 15
Se o trabalho de qualquer homem for queimado, ele sofrerá perdas, mas ele mesmo será salvo, mas como através do fogo.
- 16
Você não sabe que você é o templo de Deus e que o Espírito de Deus vive em você?
- 17
Se alguém destruir o templo de Deus, Deus o destruirá; pois o templo de Deus é santo, o que você é.
- 18
Que ninguém se engane. Se alguém pensa que ele é sábio entre vocês neste mundo, deixem-no tornar-se um tolo para que ele se torne sábio.
- 19
Pois a sabedoria deste mundo é tolice com Deus. Pois está escrito: “Ele tomou os sábios em sua astúcia”.
- 20
E novamente, “O Senhor conhece o raciocínio dos sábios, que ele não vale nada”.
- 21
Portanto, que ninguém se vanglorie nos homens. Pois todas as coisas são suas,
- 22
seja Paulo, ou Apolo, ou Cephas, ou o mundo, ou a vida, ou a morte, ou as coisas presentes, ou as coisas por vir. Todos são seus,
- 23
e você é de Cristo, e Cristo é de Deus.
