But now the LORD who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
- 2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you, therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.

I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—

everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”

Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”

“You are my witnesses,” says the LORD, “With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.

I myself am the LORD. Besides me, there is no savior.
- 12
I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses”, says the LORD, “and I am God.

Yes, since the day was, I am he. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?”

The LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.

I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”

The LORD, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,

who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick) says:

“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old.
- 19
Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
- 20
The animals of the field, the jackals and the ostriches, shall honor me, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
- 21
the people which I formed for myself, that they might declare my praise.
- 22
Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
- 23
You have not brought me any of your sheep for burnt offerings, neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
- 24
You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices, but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
- 25
I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Declare your case, that you may be justified.
- 27
Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
- 28
Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”

Mas agora Yahweh que o criou, Jacob, e aquele que o formou, Israel, diz: “Não tenha medo, pois eu o redimi”. Eu o chamei pelo seu nome. Você é meu.

Quando você passar pelas águas, eu estarei com você, e através dos rios, eles não o transbordarão. Quando você caminha através do fogo, não será queimado, e a chama não vai queimar você.

Pois eu sou Yahweh, vosso Deus, o Santo de Israel, seu Salvador. Eu dei o Egito como seu resgate, Etiópia e Seba em seu lugar.

Desde que você tem sido precioso e honrado aos meus olhos, e eu o amei, portanto, eu darei as pessoas em seu lugar, e nações, ao invés de sua vida.

Não tenha medo, pois eu estou com você. Eu trarei seus descendentes do leste, e o reúne a partir do oeste.

Direi ao norte: “Desista deles! e dizer ao sul: “Não os detenha! Trazer meus filhos de longe, e minhas filhas dos confins do mundo...
- 7
todos que são chamados pelo meu nome, e que eu criei para minha glória, que eu formei, sim, que eu fiz””.

Traga à tona os cegos que têm olhos, e os surdos que têm ouvidos.
- 9
Que todas as nações estejam reunidas, e deixar que os povos sejam reunidos. Quem dentre eles pode declarar isto, e nos mostrar coisas antigas? Deixe-os trazer suas testemunhas, para que possam ser justificados, ou deixá-los ouvir, e dizer: “Isso é verdade”.

“Vocês são minhas testemunhas”, diz Yahweh, “Com meu servo que escolhi”; que você possa conhecer e acredite em mim, e entender que eu sou ele. Antes de mim, não havia Deus formado, nem haverá depois de mim.

Eu mesmo sou Yahweh. Além de mim, não há salvador.
- 12
Declarei, salvei e mostrei, e não havia nenhum deus estranho entre vocês. Portanto, vocês são minhas testemunhas”, diz Yahweh, “e eu sou Deus”.
- 13
Sim, desde o dia em que foi, eu sou ele. Não há ninguém que possa entregar da minha mão. Eu vou trabalhar, e quem pode impedi-lo?”

Yahweh, seu Redentor, o Santo de Israel diz: “Para seu bem, eu enviei à Babilônia, e trarei todos eles como fugitivos, até mesmo os caldeus, nos navios de sua regozijo.

Eu sou Yahweh, seu Santo, o Criador de Israel, seu Rei”.

Yahweh, que faz um caminho no mar, e um caminho nas águas impetuosas,

who traz à tona a carruagem e o cavalo, o exército e o homem poderoso (eles se deitam juntos, não devem se levantar; eles estão extintos, eles estão extintos como um pavio) diz:

“Não me lembro das coisas anteriores, e não considere as coisas de antigamente.

Eis que vou fazer uma coisa nova. Ela surge agora. Você não sabe disso? Vou até abrir um caminho no deserto, e rios no deserto.

Os animais do campo, os chacais e os avestruzes, me honrarão, porque eu dou água no deserto e rios no deserto, para dar de beber ao meu povo, meu escolhido,

as pessoas que eu formei para mim mesmo, que eles possam declarar meus elogios.
- 22
No entanto, você não me chamou, Jacob; mas você tem estado cansado de mim, Israel.
- 23
Você não me trouxe nenhuma de suas ovelhas para holocaustos, nem vocês me honraram com seus sacrifícios. Eu não o sobrecarreguei com ofertas, nem o cansou com o incenso franco.

Você não me comprou nenhuma bengala doce com dinheiro, nem você me encheu com a gordura de seus sacrifícios, mas vocês me sobrecarregaram com seus pecados. Você me cansou com suas iniqüidades.

Eu, até mesmo eu, sou aquele que mancha suas transgressões por minha própria causa; e eu não me lembrarei de seus pecados.

Me lembre de mim. Vamos nos unir em defesa. Declare seu caso, que você possa ser justificado.

Seu primeiro pai pecou, e seus professores transgrediram contra mim.

Therefore Vou profanar os príncipes do santuário; e eu farei de Jacob uma maldição, e Israel um insulto”.
