God of my praise, don’t remain silent,
- 2
for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.
- 3
They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.
- 4
In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer.
- 5
They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
- 6
Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
- 7
When he is judged, let him come out guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
- 8
Let his days be few. Let another take his office.
- 9
Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
- 10
Let his children be wandering beggars. Let them be sought from their ruins.
- 11
Let the creditor seize all that he has. Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.
- 12
Let there be no one to extend kindness to him, neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children.
- 13
Let his posterity be cut off. In the generation following let their name be blotted out.
- 14
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by the LORD. Don’t let the sin of his mother be blotted out.
- 15
Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off their memory from the earth;
- 16
because he didn’t remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.
- 17
Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him. He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.
- 18
He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment. It came into his inward parts like water, like oil into his bones.
- 19
Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself, for the belt that is always around him.
- 20
This is the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, of those who speak evil against my soul.
- 21
But deal with me, GOD the Lord, for your name’s sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me;
- 22
for I am poor and needy. My heart is wounded within me.
- 23
I fade away like an evening shadow. I am shaken off like a locust.
- 24
My knees are weak through fasting. My body is thin and lacks fat.
- 25
I have also become a reproach to them. When they see me, they shake their head.
- 26
Help me, LORD, my God. Save me according to your loving kindness;
- 27
that they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
- 28
They may curse, but you bless. When they arise, they will be shamed, but your servant shall rejoice.
- 29
Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.
- 30
I will give great thanks to the LORD with my mouth. Yes, I will praise him among the multitude.

For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who judge his soul.

Deus do meu louvor, não fique calado,
- 2
pois eles abriram a boca dos ímpios e a boca do engano contra mim. Eles me falaram com uma língua mentirosa.

Eles também me cercaram com palavras de ódio, e lutou contra mim sem uma causa.

Em troca do meu amor, eles são meus adversários; mas eu estou em oração.

Eles me recompensaram com o mal pelo bem, e ódio por meu amor.

Colocar um homem malvado sobre ele. Deixe um adversário de pé à sua direita.

Quando ele for julgado, deixe-o sair culpado. Que sua oração seja transformada em pecado.

Que seus dias sejam poucos. Deixe outro tomar seu cargo.
- 9
Que seus filhos sejam órfãos de pai, e sua esposa uma viúva.
- 10
Let seus filhos andam vagueando mendigos. Que sejam procurados a partir de suas ruínas.
- 11
Let o credor apreende tudo o que tem. Deixe os estranhos saquearem o fruto de seu trabalho.
- 12
Que não haja ninguém para lhe estender a gentileza, nem que haja alguém que tenha piedade de seus filhos sem pai.

Deixe sua posteridade ser cortada. Na geração seguinte, deixe seu nome ser apagado.

Que a iniqüidade de seus pais seja lembrada por Javé. Não deixe que o pecado de sua mãe seja apagado.
- 15
Deixe-os estar diante de Yahweh continuamente, que ele possa cortar a memória deles da terra;
- 16
porque ele não se lembrava de mostrar gentileza, mas perseguiu os pobres e necessitados, os partidos de coração, para matá-los.
- 17
Yes, ele adorava praguejar, e isso chegou até ele. Ele não se deliciou com a bênção, e isso estava longe dele.
- 18
Ele também se vestiu de maldição como com sua roupa. Entrou em suas partes internas como água, como óleo em seus ossos.
- 19
Que seja para ele como a roupa com a qual ele se cobre, para o cinto que está sempre ao seu redor.
- 20
Esta é a recompensa dos meus adversários de Yahweh, daqueles que falam mal contra a minha alma.
- 21
Mas lide comigo, Yahweh o Senhor, em nome de seu nome, porque sua bondade amorosa é boa, me entregue;
- 22
pois sou pobre e necessitado. Meu coração está ferido dentro de mim.
- 23
Desvaneco-me como uma sombra noturna. Sou sacudido como um gafanhoto.
- 24
Meus joelhos estão fracos por causa do jejum. Meu corpo é fino e carente de gordura.
- 25
Também me tornei uma reprovação para eles. Quando eles me vêem, abanam a cabeça.
- 26
Ajude-me, Yahweh, meu Deus. Salve-me de acordo com sua amorosa bondade;
- 27
para que eles saibam que esta é a sua mão; que você, Javé, o fez.
- 28
Eles podem amaldiçoar, mas você abençoa. Quando eles surgirem, eles serão envergonhados, mas seu servo se regozijará.
- 29
Let meus adversários estão vestidos com desonra. Deixe-os se cobrir com sua própria vergonha como com um manto.
- 30
Vou agradecer muito a Iavé com minha boca. Sim, eu o elogiarei entre a multidão.
- 31
Pois ele estará à direita dos necessitados, para salvá-lo daqueles que julgam sua alma.
