O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
- 2
“Eis que chamei pelo nome a Bezalel, filho de Uri, filho de Hur, da tribo de Judá.
- 3
Eu o enchi com o Espírito de Deus, em sabedoria, em entendimento, em conhecimento e em todo tipo de habilidade artesanal,
- 4
para elaborar projetos artísticos, para trabalhar em ouro, em prata e em bronze,
- 5
e na lapidação de pedras para engaste, e na entalhadura de madeira, para trabalhar em todo tipo de obra artesanal.

Eis que eu mesmo designei com ele a Aoliabe, filho de Aisamaque, da tribo de Dã; e no coração de todos os que são sábios de coração coloquei sabedoria, para que façam tudo o que lhe ordenei:

a Tenda do Encontro, a arca da aliança, o propiciatório que está sobre ela, todos os móveis da Tenda,
- 8
a mesa e os seus utensílios, o candelabro puro com todos os seus utensílios, o altar do incenso,
- 9
o altar do holocausto com todos os seus utensílios, a bacia e o seu suporte,
- 10
as vestes finamente tecidas — as vestes santas para o sacerdote Arão, as vestes de seus filhos para ministrarem no ofício sacerdotal —
- 11
o óleo da unção e o incenso de especiarias aromáticas para o lugar santo: de acordo com tudo o que lhe ordenei, eles farão.”

O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
- 13
“Fale também aos filhos de Israel, dizendo: 'Certamente vocês guardarão os meus sábados; pois é um sinal entre mim e vocês por todas as suas gerações, para que saibam que eu sou o SENHOR que os santifica.
- 14
Portanto, vocês guardarão o sábado, pois ele lhes é santo. Todo aquele que o profanar certamente será morto; pois qualquer que nele fizer algum trabalho, essa alma será eliminada do meio do seu povo.
- 15
Seis dias o trabalho será feito, mas o sétimo dia é um sábado de descanso solene, santo ao SENHOR. Qualquer que fizer algum trabalho no dia de sábado certamente será morto.
- 16
Portanto, os filhos de Israel guardarão o sábado, para celebrar o sábado por todas as suas gerações, como uma aliança perpétua.
- 17
É um sinal entre mim e os filhos de Israel para sempre; pois em seis dias o SENHOR fez os céus e a terra, e no sétimo dia ele descansou e se revigorou.'”
- 18
Quando ele terminou de falar com ele no monte Sinai, deu a Moisés as duas tábuas da aliança, tábuas de pedra, escritas com o dedo de Deus.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
- 2
“Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
- 3
I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship,
- 4
to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze,
- 5
and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.
- 6
Behold, I myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the heart of all who are wise-hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you:

the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant, the mercy seat that is on it, all the furniture of the Tent,
- 8
the table and its vessels, the pure lamp stand with all its vessels, the altar of incense,
- 9
the altar of burnt offering with all its vessels, the basin and its base,
- 10
the finely worked garments—the holy garments for Aaron the priest, the garments of his sons to minister in the priest’s office—
- 11
the anointing oil, and the incense of sweet spices for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
- 13
“Speak also to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Most certainly you shall keep my Sabbaths; for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
- 14
You shall keep the Sabbath therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
- 15
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
- 16
Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
- 17
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.’”
- 18
When he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave Moses the two tablets of the covenant, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.
