Pelo bem de Zion, não vou me calar, e para o bem de Jerusalém não descansarei, até que sua retidão resplandeça como o amanhecer, e sua salvação como uma lâmpada em chamas.

As nações verão sua retidão, e todos os reis sua glória. Você será chamado por um novo nome, que a boca de Yahweh vai citar.

Você também será uma coroa de beleza na mão de Yahweh, e um diadema real na mão de seu Deus.

Você não será mais chamado de Forsaken, nem sua terra será mais chamada de Desolada; mas você será chamado de Hephzibah, e sua terra Beulah; para Yahweh se deleita em você, e sua terra será casada.

Pois quando jovem, casa-se com uma virgem, para que seus filhos se casem com você. Como um noivo se alegra com sua noiva, para que seu Deus se regozije por você.

Coloquei guardas em seus muros, Jerusalém. Eles nunca ficarão em silêncio dia ou noite. Vocês que invocam Yahweh, não descansem,

e não lhe dar descanso até que ele se estabeleça, e até que ele faça de Jerusalém um louvor na terra.

Yahweh jurou por sua mão direita, e pelo braço de sua força, “Certamente não darei mais seus grãos para serem alimento para seus inimigos, e os estrangeiros não beberão seu novo vinho, para o qual você trabalhou,

mas aqueles que a colheram vão comê-la, e elogiar Yahweh. Aqueles que o recolheram o beberão nos tribunais do meu santuário”.

Atravesse, atravesse os portões! Prepare o caminho do povo! Construa, construa a rodovia! Junte as pedras! Levantar uma bandeira para os povos.

Eis que Yahweh proclamou até o fim do mundo: “Diga à filha de Zion, “Eis que vem a sua salvação! Eis que sua recompensa está com ele, e sua recompensa diante dele””.

Eles os chamarão de “O Povo Santo”, Yahweh's Redeemed”. Você será chamado de “Sought Out”, Uma cidade não abandonada”.

For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, and her salvation like a burning lamp.

The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You will be called by a new name, which the LORD’s mouth will name.

You will also be a crown of beauty in the LORD’s hand, and a royal diadem in your God’s hand.

You will not be called Forsaken any more, nor will your land be called Desolate any more; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you, and your land will be married.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on the LORD, take no rest,
- 7
and give him no rest until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, “Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies, and foreigners will not drink your new wine, for which you have labored,
- 9
but those who have harvested it will eat it, and praise the LORD. Those who have gathered it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”

Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way of the people! Build up, build up the highway! Gather out the stones! Lift up a banner for the peoples.

Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!’”
- 12
They will call them “The Holy People, The LORD’s Redeemed”. You will be called “Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken”.
