Ezequiel 46

A visita ao templo detém-se para fixar regras. O culto segue um calendário: a porta oriental interior fica fechada nos seis dias de trabalho e abre-se no sábado e na lua nova; o príncipe entra apenas pelo pórtico, adora no umbral e sai pelo caminho por onde veio. A multidão das festas tem também a sua regra de trânsito: quem entra pelo norte sai pelo sul, sem voltar atrás. Repare em como as ofertas crescem conforme a ocasião (seis cordeiros e um carneiro no sábado, um novilho na lua nova) e no cordeiro diário de cada manhã nos versículos 13 a 15. O capítulo termina rente ao chão, com as cozinhas onde se cozem os sacrifícios.

“‘Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “A porta do pátio interior que dá para o leste ficará fechada durante os seis dias de trabalho; mas no dia de sábado ela será aberta, e no dia da lua nova ela será aberta.

O príncipe entrará pelo caminho do pórtico da porta, do lado de fora, e ficará junto à ombreira da porta; e os sacerdotes prepararão o seu holocausto e as suas ofertas pacíficas, e ele adorará na soleira da porta. Então ele sairá, mas a porta não será fechada até a tarde.
3
O povo da terra adorará à entrada daquela porta diante do SENHOR, nos sábados e nas luas novas.
4
O holocausto que o príncipe oferecerá ao SENHOR no dia de sábado será de seis cordeiros sem defeito e um carneiro sem defeito;
5
e a oferta de cereais será de um efa para o carneiro, e a oferta de cereais para os cordeiros será o que ele puder dar, e um him de azeite para cada efa.

No dia da lua nova, será um novilho sem defeito, seis cordeiros e um carneiro. Eles deverão ser sem defeito.

Ele preparará uma oferta de cereais: um efa para o novilho, e um efa para o carneiro, e para os cordeiros de acordo com o que puder dar, e um him de azeite para cada efa.

Quando o príncipe entrar, ele entrará pelo caminho do pórtico da porta, e sairá pelo mesmo caminho.

“‘“Mas quando o povo da terra vier perante o SENHOR nas festas fixas, aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta norte para adorar sairá pelo caminho da porta sul; e aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta sul sairá pelo caminho da porta norte. Ele não voltará pelo caminho da porta por onde entrou, mas sairá direto em frente.

O príncipe entrará com eles quando entrarem. Quando eles saírem, ele sairá.

“‘“Nas festas e nos feriados fixos, a oferta de cereais será de um efa para um novilho, e um efa para um carneiro, e para os cordeiros o que ele puder dar, e um him de azeite para cada efa.

Quando o príncipe preparar uma oferta voluntária, seja um holocausto ou ofertas pacíficas como oferta voluntária ao SENHOR, abrirão para ele a porta que dá para o leste; e ele preparará o seu holocausto e as suas ofertas pacíficas, como faz no dia de sábado. Então ele sairá; e depois de sair, fecharão a porta.

“‘“Você preparará diariamente um cordeiro de um ano, sem defeito, como holocausto ao SENHOR. Manhã após manhã você o preparará.
14
Você preparará uma oferta de cereais com ele, manhã após manhã, a sexta parte de um efa, e a terça parte de um him de azeite para umedecer a farinha fina; uma oferta de cereais ao SENHOR continuamente, por estatuto perpétuo.
15
Assim prepararão o cordeiro, a oferta de cereais e o azeite, manhã após manhã, como um holocausto contínuo.”

“‘Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Se o príncipe der um presente a qualquer um de seus filhos, é a herança dele. Pertencerá aos seus filhos. É a posse deles por herança.
17
Mas se ele der da sua herança um presente a um de seus servos, será dele até o ano da libertação; então retornará ao príncipe; mas quanto à sua herança, será para os seus filhos.
18
Além disso, o príncipe não tomará da herança do povo, para expulsá-los da sua propriedade. Ele dará herança aos seus filhos da sua própria propriedade, para que o meu povo não seja espalhado, cada um longe da sua propriedade.”’”

Então ele me levou pela entrada, que ficava ao lado da porta, para as câmaras santas dos sacerdotes, que davam para o norte. Eis que havia ali um lugar na parte de trás, em direção ao oeste.

Ele me disse: “Este é o lugar onde os sacerdotes cozinharão a oferta pela culpa e a oferta pelo pecado, e onde assarão a oferta de cereais, para que não as levem para o pátio exterior, a fim de não santificar o povo.”

Então ele me levou para o pátio exterior e me fez passar pelos quatro cantos do pátio; e eis que em cada canto do pátio havia um pátio.
22
Nos quatro cantos do pátio havia pátios fechados, de quarenta côvados de comprimento e trinta de largura. Estes quatro nos cantos tinham o mesmo tamanho.

Havia um muro ao redor deles, ao redor dos quatro, e lugares para cozinhar foram feitos debaixo dos muros, por todos os lados.

Então ele me disse: “Estas são as cozinhas, onde os ministros da casa cozinharão o sacrifício do povo.”

“‘The Lord GOD says: “The gate of the inner court that looks toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath day it shall be opened, and on the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
2
The prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate outside, and shall stand by the post of the gate; and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
3
The people of the land shall worship at the door of that gate before the LORD on the Sabbaths and on the new moons.
4
The burnt offering that the prince shall offer to the LORD shall be on the Sabbath day, six lambs without defect and a ram without defect;
5
and the meal offering shall be an ephah for the ram, and the meal offering for the lambs as he is able to give, and a hin of oil to an ephah.
6
On the day of the new moon it shall be a young bull without defect, six lambs, and a ram. They shall be without defect.
7
He shall prepare a meal offering: an ephah for the bull, and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs according as he is able, and a hin of oil to an ephah.
8
When the prince enters, he shall go in by the way of the porch of the gate, and he shall go out by its way.

“‘“But when the people of the land come before the LORD in the appointed feasts, he who enters by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he who enters by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate. He shall not return by the way of the gate by which he came in, but shall go out straight before him.

The prince shall go in with them when they go in. When they go out, he shall go out.

“‘“In the feasts and in the appointed holidays, the meal offering shall be an ephah for a bull, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs as he is able to give, and a hin of oil to an ephah.
12
When the prince prepares a free will offering, a burnt offering or peace offerings as a free will offering to the LORD, one shall open for him the gate that looks toward the east; and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out; and after his going out one shall shut the gate.
13
“‘“You shall prepare a lamb a year old without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD daily. Morning by morning you shall prepare it.
14
You shall prepare a meal offering with it morning by morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour; a meal offering to the LORD continually by a perpetual ordinance.
15
Thus they shall prepare the lamb, the meal offering, and the oil, morning by morning, for a continual burnt offering.”

“‘The Lord GOD says: “If the prince gives a gift to any of his sons, it is his inheritance. It shall belong to his sons. It is their possession by inheritance.
17
But if he gives of his inheritance a gift to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince; but as for his inheritance, it shall be for his sons.
18
Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance, to thrust them out of their possession. He shall give inheritance to his sons out of his own possession, that my people not each be scattered from his possession.”’”

Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy rooms for the priests, which looked toward the north. Behold, there was a place on the back part westward.
20
He said to me, “This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, and where they shall bake the meal offering, that they not bring them out into the outer court, to sanctify the people.”
21
Then he brought me out into the outer court and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.
22
In the four corners of the court there were courts enclosed, forty cubits long and thirty wide. These four in the corners were the same size.
23
There was a wall around in them, around the four, and boiling places were made under the walls all around.
24
Then he said to me, “These are the boiling houses, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.”

Um príncipe que não pode tomar a terra

Os versículos 16 a 18 cercam o príncipe. O que dá aos filhos torna-se herança permanente; o que dá a um servo regressa no ano da libertação. Não pode tirar da herança do povo para aumentar a sua, de modo que ninguém seja expulso da sua posse.

Depois da ira anterior de Ezequiel contra os pastores que se apascentavam a si mesmos, eis a cura inscrita na lei: um governante preso aos mesmos limites de todos, com o poder contido antes de engolir o campo do vizinho.
