Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
- 4
How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
- 5
Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
- 6
How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”

Então Bildad, o Shuhite, respondeu,

“O domínio e o medo estão com ele. Ele faz a paz em seus lugares altos.

Seus exércitos podem ser contados? Em quem sua luz não se levanta?
- 4
Como então o homem pode estar apenas com Deus? Ou como pode aquele que nasce de uma mulher estar limpo?
- 5
Eis que mesmo a lua não tem brilho, e as estrelas não são puras à sua vista;
- 6
Quanto menos homem, que é uma minhoca, e o filho do homem, que é um verme”!
