I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years,

and cast him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison

and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

They went up over the width of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them.

The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away. There was found no place for them.

I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.
- 14
Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Vi um anjo descendo do céu, tendo na mão a chave do abismo e uma grande corrente.

Ele agarrou o dragão, a velha serpente, que é o diabo e Satanás, que engana toda a terra habitada, e o amarrou por mil anos,

e o lançou no abismo, e o fechou e o selou sobre ele, para que não enganasse mais as nações até que os mil anos estivessem terminados. Depois disso, ele deve ser libertado por um curto período de tempo.

Eu vi tronos, e eles se sentaram sobre eles, e o julgamento foi dado a eles. Vi as almas daqueles que haviam sido decapitados pelo testemunho de Jesus e pela palavra de Deus, e aqueles que não adoravam a besta nem sua imagem, e não receberam a marca em sua testa e em sua mão. Eles viveram e reinaram com Cristo por mil anos.

O resto dos mortos não viveram até que os mil anos terminassem. Esta é a primeira ressurreição.

Bendito e santo é aquele que tem parte na primeira ressurreição. Sobre estes, a segunda morte não tem poder, mas eles serão sacerdotes de Deus e de Cristo, e reinarão com ele mil anos.

E depois dos mil anos, Satanás será libertado de sua prisão

e sairá para enganar as nações que estão nos quatro cantos da terra, Gog e Magog, para reuni-las para a guerra, cujo número é como a areia do mar.

Eles subiram sobre a largura da terra e cercaram o campo dos santos e a cidade amada. O fogo desceu do céu, vindo de Deus, e os devorou.

O diabo que os enganou foi lançado no lago de fogo e enxofre, onde também estão a besta e o falso profeta. Eles serão atormentados dia e noite para todo o sempre.

Eu vi um grande trono branco e aquele que se sentou nele, de cuja face fugiram a terra e o céu. Não foi encontrado lugar para eles.

Eu vi os mortos, os grandes e os pequenos, de pé diante do trono, e eles abriram livros. Outro livro foi aberto, que é o livro da vida. Os mortos foram julgados a partir das coisas que estavam escritas nos livros, de acordo com suas obras.

O mar entregou os mortos que nele se encontravam. A morte e o inferno entregaram os mortos que estavam neles. Eles foram julgados, cada um de acordo com suas obras.

A Morte e o Hades foram jogados no lago de fogo. Esta é a segunda morte, o lago de fogo.
- 15
Se alguém não foi encontrado escrito no livro da vida, ele foi lançado no lago de fogo.
