Então Job respondeu,

“Como você tem ajudado quem está sem poder! Como você salvou o braço que não tem força!

Como você o aconselhou a quem não tem sabedoria? e com abundância de conhecimentos sólidos declarados!

A quem você dirigiu as palavras? De quem saiu o espírito de vocês?

“Os espíritos falecidos tremem, os que vivem sob as águas e todos os que nelas vivem.
6
O Sheol está nu diante de Deus, e a Abaddon não tem cobertura.
7
Ele estende o norte sobre o espaço vazio, e pendura a terra sobre o nada.
8
Ele amarra as águas em suas nuvens grossas, e a nuvem não irrompe sob eles.
9
Ele encerra a face de seu trono, e espalha sua nuvem sobre ela.
10
Ele descreveu um limite na superfície das águas, e aos limites da luz e da escuridão.
11
Os pilares do céu tremem e estão surpresos com sua repreensão.
12
Ele agita o mar com seu poder, e por seu entendimento, ele ataca através de Rahab.
13
Por seu Espírito, os céus são guarnecidos. Sua mão furou a serpente rápida.
14
Eis que estas são apenas as periferias de seus caminhos. Quão pequeno é o sussurro que ouvimos dele! Mas o trovão de seu poder, quem pode entender?”

Then Job answered,

“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!
3
How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
4
To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came out of you?
5
“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
6
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.
7
He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.
8
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.
9
He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.
10
He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.
11
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.
12
He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.
13
By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.
14
Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
